How many round engines finished the Gold race?

What kind of engine was it that they were replacing pistons on for Ridge Runner? Oh, and was that also the same type engine that Voodoo had that forced him to Mayday out of the race while in second place?

I'm just sayin'.

Congrats to Steven though. Great job on his part and the entire Strega team.

Pretty dang cool that the two round motors that came in second and third at Reno were built by Ray Anderson of Anderson Airmotive. Ray is a great guy too.

Also cool is the fact that the 3350 that Ray built in Rare Bear was going to be one of Fifi's engines until it was diverted to the Bear. This means that it shouldn't take that much to make Fifi competitive at Reno! Just exactly how many gold wins will it take to pay off Fifi's engines anyway?

...and there's room for a 42 inch plasma screen and 8 seats for a Bomb-bay theater system to watch the Reno air races on In-Flight, with a killer stereo system boosting 20,000 watts to try to drown out the engines!
