Does she have the complete cannon? When I saw her at Mount Comfort five years or so ago, they just had the end of the barrel attached to a backing plate. I believe they said they planned to intall the whole cannon, if they could find one. I'm not complaining (she's gorgeous) just curious.

I think the problem with putting a real cannon in would come down to availability: almost none existent, and weight, approx. 900 pounds.
I think it might be easier and weigh less to make a replica 75mm out of wood than to install a real one.
I think the NMNSAF only has an experimental 75mm cannon with an automatic feed, hence, not the original G/H model canon installation.

I don't think I'd put 900 extra pound in the nose of my aircraft. Even NEAM has a replica barrel end in their B-25H and display the actual 75mm cannon outside next to the aircraft so you can see what it looks like and how big it is.

Good points, especially about the weight. I suppose a lightweight wood and plastic replica would more than suffice, not that you can see much of it when it's installed anyway.

That is one clean looking B25. That short nose looks a little weird somehow. Too used to the "Glass" nose ones I guess . Pugnacious? Yeah thats a better word!
