Most of you know this as the P-38J Lightning that belonged to The Fighter Collection known as "Happy Jacks Go Buggy" and "California Cutie" and was destroyed in a crash at Duxford July 14, 1996.

From all the looking I've done so far this looks to be the only photo of it during it's war time service that's out there.
I've had it for awhile but just by chance while looking for something else today I took the time to check the tail number.
