As shown in this photo the aircraft although finished in early colours are likely to be at GAD undergoing repair and is believed to have been taken mid to late 1942.

GAD is one of the biggest head aches to anyone interested in researching P-40 aircraft in North Africa, due to the limited resources available on this unit, and which aircraft it actually rebuilt.
