Greg confirmed today and will be our "Inside" go to guy.

Now this is a tennative but Jerry Yeagans N120BH may be done in time. It was mentioned that if its done in time that they may have it flown to Geneseo where he would pick up the keys and continue on to VA!!!

That would make 4 and all with the "Wright" engine!!! :partyman:

What about the one that's always displayed at Oshkosh with the floats near-by?

That's great news that this is coming together! Thanks for the work you've already put in to get a few of these aircraft together.

Rich-

I think the one you're talking about is owned by Bill Hirzel (sp?) and based in Ohio.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That is Bills. He mentioned the possibility of driving out but not flying because of some events this year.

I am sending invites out to some registered owners that I think would consider the trip. Being that not all owners are members of my Online group. Even tho I am not sure if the airplanes are even airworthy but I need to know that info anyways. I am still waiting to hear from any interest in the Mid-Atlantic Museum and I need to still find out what the status is of the N3N being repaired at the Pittsburgh Aeronautical Institute. Then we have 2 in mass and 1 in Conn. so we will see how this works out. If I can get everyone on the same page, I will link the owners together who are comming from the same direction so they can link up as the trip to NY progresses. I am working with Frank who is a "other biplane" guy on where they are located and maybe a "GULP" Boeing product can link up with a N to the show.

This should be really fun, the N3N turns 74 Yrs old in Aug 2009. So we may need to have a birthday cake!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, which one is in CT? Is it flyable?

N2896 Bureau #2896 in Hartford. I currently dont have a current pic of this airplane, just a much older one from the early 60's.

The one in CT is based at a grass strip in the NW corner. I should see the owner in a few weeks and will be happy to pass the info about the gathering on to him. The airplane does not fly much but it is in flying condition.

Jeff, Do you have any contact info for the owner of 1120. I flew that airplane for 14 years and a few hundred hours. Love to talk to the owner and maybe attend the gathering. You need to get yours on the skinny wheels. Don
