Red line for P-51 is 505 MPH. Statement is true.

Paging Chris Clark... paging Chris Clark... you have some 'splaining to do on Su Su!!

Seriously, the museum is a collection of personal planes displayed under the header of the Wings of Flight masthead. For those of you who came out to the Wings Over Anzio event at FFZ in the Spring, a good number of the planes were those from Wings of Flight. Those planes that are based at FFZ now (the P-51 is at Stellar in Chandler) are usually found at the Air West hangar on the far East side of the airport (really just accessible from inside the airport in all reality). There were plans underway to build a consolidated hangar, but I am not sure where those are now.

Ryan

Only misleading to those who aren't knowledgeable enough. red-line speed is covered in private pilot license training, and is maximum speed.

Top speed, Maximun speed, VNE.....

I think 438mph @ 25,000ft, sounds more accurate.

I guess it's a numbers game, all planes speeds look more impressive when going down hill.

Someone has some 'splainin to do to me too. I had no idea that Nazy's planes were part of the equation. I may have some questions regarding working on planes that are being flown for donations for someone elses organization. Can you say L I A B I L I T Y?
