Greetings all,

on this image is presented Hunter with yellow badge on the front fuselage. The same badge is on the left lower side of image. What is the unit and is anywhere available larger image of this emblem?

This is Hawker Hunter FR.71A J-734 operated by Grupo No. 8, Cerro Moreno, Antofagosto, Chile - the yello badge is of that unit

Just a small correction: Antofagasta.

You are right- stuning images :) Must say that in general overview South American Air Forces have very interesting badges and unit emblems.

On page 23 of that book there is a different badge for Grupo de Aviacion No. 8, representing what looks like a winged bom.

The title of the book is Hawker Hunter, by Claudio Caceres Godoy and Jorge Nunez Padin. It was published in March 1994, and it has no ISBN.

Saludos,

Tulio
