P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

How about getting the local custom helmet painter (every city has several, ask @ the auto paint store) make it look like a big ol' bugged out, bloodshot eyeball? 8)

please don't put stickers on it. There's just something beautiful about a helmet taht's been painted and after a fw years begins to show your wear on it. I like how each pilots helmet shows his own wear pattern, and the fade of age is itself a sexy thing. Putting crappy stickers on it just means after a while you have crappy old worn out stickers. Paint is for life :)

Don't forget to put your blood type on it like the armed forces do now.

on the back of all my motorcycle helmets I have my Drivers license # blood type, allergies to meds, and what meds I'm on so 'they know who I am, where I live, how old I am and, by my own personal choice DNR/AND If it's that bad, I only want to die once, just keep me comfortable until I go-I also carry a signed card next to my drivers license that tells medical staff the same thing and anything they exceed my wishes with is on their nickle 'cause no one will or is authorized to pay for it.

Painting is much better then taping or putting stickers on it, with paint you can see if there is damage to the helmet. I've seen a lot of cracked helmets in 22 1/2 years, and tape or stickers would have hid the damage.

In the navy we used the good ole reflective tape for rescue purposes (or as we used to say to "help locate the body")

When I was at Tyndall AFB, we would have Navy Exchange Pilots come through for their F-15 training and they would throw fits because we would issue them an USAF issued Air Superiority Gray helmet in place of their USN Reflective helmets.
