Hi all and happy 4th,

A friend of mine and myself were just talking and a question was brought up about how they 'named' all the groups in WW2.

Why, for example in the 8th AF do the BG and FG numbers go out of order.
(there is a 91st a 92nd and a 94th and 95th BGs....why no 93rd. OR was the 93rd attatched to another AF????) Is it just random?

I never thought about it until today.

Thanks in advance
