Hello everyone,

A request was made in another thread regarding the expected visitors to Vintage Wings for their open house this Saturday. I thought this deserved it's own thread.

I am including the list of attendees below.

Remember... THIS IS NOT AN AIRSHOW. Vintage Wings has a number of friends who like to visit during the open house events with their aircraft. There are no sheduled performances, although there may be some practice/maintenance flights, etc. This is not a tongue-in-check statement. If the weather is not good, or crowds don't cooperate (this started to become a problem last year) operations may be restricted. There is only so much that can be done in an open house setting as we are not set-up for airshow style exhibits. Having said that Vintage Wings looks forward to you visiting if you can and hopes you enjoy the day (10 AM - 2 PM).

Regards,

Mike Henniger

Flight Simulator:
Ted Creagh and crew will be bringing their computers and will be setting up a demonstration of the Flight Simulator using the scenery of CYND and some of the Vintage Wings of Canada aircraft. One of the team members, Martin McLean, often sets up flight simulator demonstrations at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.

Mike,

Many thanks for visitors listing. If the weather gods cooperate it looks like we should have a fantastic turn out at Vintage Wings. Hopefully the crowds behave themselves and these events don't just become something that we have fond memories of....

See u there

Andrew

This looks like a terrific event. Too bad the Hurricane is broken. I hope it's back in the air soon.
