I've been getting a few PMs asking about our house and wanting to see the post fire version of both it and of our
cat Louie who graced the front page of the paper.
For being dead and having burned feet and a hunk of plastic melted to the side of his face he's back to being the
neighborhood *ss kicker and recently lost a piece of his ear in a fire.
Here he is with the paramedic...........

Looking a bit better............

Here he's recreating that fateful day.........

Here's the house prefire (yes Bill some snow lands outside CO).

Rebuilt April 12, 2008 1 year later................

Of course the dog wanted in on the show she Abby's impersenating the cat.

and now in vertical..............

For all you guys did for us I can never pay you back enough!!
Enjoy your weekend!
Jack

Great picture story Jack...We had a very similar experience in 1991 and rebuilt...lost a dog and a cat to smoke.

To me, that cat looks like a real pu$$y! 8)

Very glad to all ends well. Nice pooch too. Seems they both enjoy inverted flight.

I like your cat, that big boy has 'yeah, I've got attitude, what you gonna do about it?' written all over his face! Now wonder he runs the neighborhood! Glad to see everything back as it should be-

congrats a on a great recovery, you were strong, & that's what made the difference. you have strong friends here too, most that never shook your hand, but that's what's cool about this board.... most of us have melded together in friendship regardless.

So glad to see the pictures.....your house and grounds look great.

I'm pretty partial to the kitty.......who just looks great considering....what an attitude (but cats are that way !!!). Pretty dog too...very sweet face.

I'm so glad your family is back on your feet; my thoughts and prayers were always with you.
