The photos from the CAF shows made me think of the many rolls of film I shot at the 1976 event at Harlingen. Here was one I always liked:

1st time I really had a road trip adventure was to that air show from Southern Calif. For a 15yo that was quite a trip. Thanks for posting.

Wow, I didn't know that Bob Hoover was doing his act in Fifi! :D I wonder if he poured a glass of tea while he rolled the B-29?
