I was wondering about the status of Ed Shipley's Sabre. What or who is "Friedkin?"

With Snort's and Ed's Sabres out of the picture for now, it is close to impossible to see a flying Sabre at an air show in the east for the time being. Will Ed have a Sabre back on the air show circuit later on? I know that Snort's (Dale Snodgrass) air show website shows that his Sabre will hopefully be back flying by September.

Jwc50- "Friedkin" refers to Tom Friedkin, long time collector of warbirds and owner of such types as Bearcat, Wildcat, Mustang, G-V, and others. He also owns a little company called Gulf States Toyota which is the largest Toyota dealer in the Southwest.
