Jack,

You may already have your copy since you contributed to it, but I just got an email notification that my pre-ordered copy is on the way. Yippee! Can't wait to see it.

Wade

I had a email from Steve last week saying his author's copies had been shipped. Mine would be the first out of his door!! :)

While you're going through it would you please look for my uncles P51D. He was Woodfin Sullivan AKA "Sully". He flew FT*R. 354FG,353FS. The name of the plane he told me was "Brazier (sp) de Mort", "kiss of death" in French. But Jack had a post back in Nov. about a plane in this group called "Little Horse" in French. That post stated that the interpeter played a fast one on Sully and the plane actually was painted "Kiss My A**" in French. :D If there is a picture of him or the plane I would purchase the book. Thank you, Hugh

Another question for the 354fg 353fs. When they were flying P47s after D-Day did the pilots have the same plane code i.e. FT*R as their P51s. Thank you, Hugh

Just got this book and it is well done.
Only thing I was disapointed in was no photo of Glen Eagleston's P-51B's but had Turner's and other's.
Jack Cook's photo's were all threw it.
Sorry no Woodfin Sullivan photo's but he is written about on 6 pages for claims he made.
FT-R 413585 "Baiser de Mort" is in the a/c list.

OOps, forgot to answer the code letter change from P-51 to P-47.
I didn't go through all of them but seem's like the stayed the same with some changes.
