I had a thread going about help and information about T-6's and it has disappeared. Where did it go?

rides at Boeing Field.

Deleting the post in order to protect the rep of any company, after the company has been identified in the post, is just plain stupid from a PR standpoint. My guess is that whatever was being referenced, was far less damaging than the speculation of what happened. My understanding was that Tim had responded with some details ( which I didn't get to read yet) and then the whole post was removed. Now we are left to speculate the worst. Bad Plan Moderator!

Hi Eric-

I think those that know me, and my reputation will feel welcome to contact me for any details, the good, the bad, or the ugly about anything any of my enterprises has been engaged in. I don't have anything to hide. I simply stated in my reply post that there are two sides to each and every business dispute or problem and asked the original poster to contact me for the details. He has declined to do so, which is certainly his perogative, and I consider the matter closed.

Anyone else who would like my perspective is also welcome to contact me, but I am not going to start a he-said, she-said on an internet message board. As we have discovered over and over here on WIX, it is easy to make a one-sided statement that one assumes or has been told is fact, without balance.

Thanks!

It would seem to me to be only common courtesy that if one of the mods elects to delete a post or thread, that he contact the originator of the post or thread and advise him/her of the deletion and the reasons therefore. That individual shouldn't have to come here and ask what happened to my post/thread.

I deduce that someone used this thread to take a cheap shot at Tim
leading to the thread being removed. Not the first time this has happened
to a new posters thread. I agree that the people who started the thread
should not be left wondering what happened and what "they" did wrong.
Not a good welcome to wix. We CAN do better  :!:

Jack, I assume you meant to say, "...should NOT be left wondering what they did wrong."?
I agree, it's nice to know how we err so's not to repeat it. Live and learn..

It seems the offending person could just have their post deleted as opposed to the entire thread. I have seen many message boards who will just put in the post "POST DELETED BY MODERATORS."

both that and thinking they're done something when in actuality a third party used their thread to take a jab at someone :?
