Ok gang,
Two questions (I did a search on both and didn't find anything recent)

1. The B36 at Pima.....I saw pictures of the nose and fuselage joined and the fuselage is in primer. Does this mean it will be painted a different scheme other than 'Spirit of Ft.Worth'? I hope not

2. Anyone know the latest on the 'Swamp Ghost'? I have been on the website and nothing new. I sure hope it doesn't just sit on the dock forever.

Thanks in advance

If "City of Ft. Worth"(#2), was painted..I would imagine she'll be done in an aluminum scheme in order to replicate her appearance as she served in service,
thus covering any new work or old weathering and/or seal her from the elements...just a guess.

As for Swamp Ghost..no new news..

We will be repainting the B-36 into the scheme it wore on its last flight from El Paso to Ft. Worth. The aircraft was in desperate need of painting when it arrived and the need to fix the many years of corrosion issues would have required a repaint regardless.

The best we can all do (on a public forum) is leave this from discussion until there are public developments.
