What are the current cruise speeds for B-25's? I'm assuming they are around 180-190 MPH.

185-190 mph is typical for Briefing Time

"Show Me!" & "Axis Nightmare" are 170 to 180, and Jim Terry's "Pacific Prowler" is 190+ with the small bubble in place of a top turret.

Those are IAS. They will vary with weight and drag etc. . When I test flew "Wild Cargo" we were indicating 200 MPH at 21" and 1800 RPM. No turret, paint, etc - stripped - an empty weight of 17,300 lbs. We wont see that again once its finished.

Unless the ASI's have been converted (flew one 25 that had been) they are placarded in MPH and the manuals and limitations are in MPH. However, Navy aircraft of the era were in referenced in KTS.

For Knots, to obtain TAS below FL180 simply increase the IAS by 2% for each one thousand feet of altitude above sea level. Above FL180 its 1.5%.

Army aircraft only know how to fly in miles per hour and Navy aircraft can only fly in knots. :D
