Anyone out there have any info on the ex Strathallan Collection Lancaster KB976 (or what's left of it!) Does Kermit Weeks still own it? Is it under restoration or stored? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I visited Kermit's Fantasy of Flight 2 weeks ago. Took a tram tour of the other buildings. Outside of one of the storage buildings, there were several very large storage containers. The tour guide explained that there were parts to a complete Lancaster inside the containers. I asked him at the end of the tour to confirm that I heard him correctly. The registry lists KB976 as in storage at Polk City, which appears to be correct. I didn't ask when a possible restoration would be started. Hope that answers you question.

The Lancaster you are referring to is still in our collection and most of it is dissasembled in several shipping containers awaiting possible future rebuild.
