I'm looking for photos of Sue in the P-40 in the flight. Does anyone have any of those to share? I would appreciate it.

By your location, I assume you already have all the posters of Sue in the P-40..unless they don't sell them in the gift shop anymore.

I actually have a bit of video from her last airshow appearance (High on Kalamazoo 1992) but I have no way to transfer it to the computer.

Hi Steve,

No, I don't have posters. What I'm looking for are digital photos to use in a biographical piece on Sue.

If a poster were small enough, I could scan it into the computer. I'll go check the Fly-Buy. Thanks for the idea.

If you're doing a biographical piece on Sue, then I'd suggest contacting the Airzoo directly. I'm guessing they would be more than happy to assist you. Since you live in Portage, you can either just drop in on a weekday or call.

The Air Zoo has been very helpful. But I have seen photos of Sue in flight that were published in old magazines. And the A.Z. did not seem to have the photos. They are gorgeous photos, maybe exactly the same as the posters mentioned earlier. I will go look for the posters at the Fly-Buy.

The posters may be too large to scan, but I believe they have (or had) postcards with the same pictures.

Check out Webshots and FLICKR search "Pink P-40" or "Sue Parish" and you will find some there.

I remember meeting here in 1983 at the ZOO when I was headed from Detroit to South Bend to find a place to live when I started grad school at Notre Dame.

Talked to her a lot at OSH, etc. She would wear some hats at the shows. (I mean like a fruit basket on her head).

Really nice lady, hope she is still doing well.

Thanks for the ideas about postcards and Flickr. I'll check those out.

You might check out back issues of Jack's favorite mag  from the late 1980s- the mid 1990s. They usually had extensive coverage of all things AirZoo...

I found a nice picture of Sue in flight on Webshots.

And speaking of red-tails -- I saw the Tuskegee Airmen movie last night. Those sure looked like P-40s in the north Africa section.

What IS Jack's favorite mag?

The first shot was taken by Norb 'Bruno' Donacik at Niagra Falls in 1982. Its a pretty nice shot. His son Peter-Four-Oh is a regular poster here.

Say, that is a nice photo, Mark. I like that way it shows Sue, the flying tiger and Fifinella.

Thanks for those new pictures!

Mark, that's a good one of Sue taking a photo. She's a good photographer.

And I like the picture of her in flight, Kenlyco.
