I was just out at the SAC museum near Omaha for member tour day. They had the C 119 open for crawl through and a platform so you could get up close and personal with the F 111. Many pics.

BUT. The absolutely best news was from one of the restoration crews members. I nearly wet myself.

They have cracked the B 58 open and will have it open for the member tour day in March! :D

As if that wasn't enough they will also have the Vulcan open!!! Neither have been open at this facility to the public that I am aware of. You must be a member but it is cheap and well worth it. I will be there and will shoot as many pics as my cards will hold. Would love to see some of you folks there too if you are so inclined.

By the way I have a few pics of Man O War. More info too. as soon as I get them uploaded I will share what I heard. Nothing up close as the restoration hangar was not on the tour this time.

Eric

Be sure to take as many pics as you can inside and out as there has been a lack of info and pics of their vulcan lately

Where's the 111 pics? huh? huh? huh?

I really would like to see a pic of the crew compartment as it would appear detached from ejection.

Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
