Paul/Jeff,

This BT-Gas station is in the town of Sanford, CA which is near Fresno. It has been many years since I was there, but I believe the airplane is still there on top of the gas station.

It's still there, but looks a bit worse these days. I saw it a few months ago when I was up visiting my daughter and grandkids.

I see that minimart quite often. It is actually in Caruthers, CA which is outside of Fresno. That looks like a fairly recent picture to me. It looks basically the same as it did last weekend when I drove past it. It even has the same cars parked to the left of the station as it did then.

These were taken by my grandson (age 6) in June 2007.

Hi,

Thanks for posting those shots Cindy:shock: They are the best photos that I've seen of it and it was taken by a 6 year old !! It shows what kind of shape its in, note the corrosion holes in the vertical and horizonal leading edges. Lots of dings and dents, check out the stress wrinkles in the bottom skins of the center section, a bad landing or more corrosion? BT-13s are a pretty rare bird lets hope someday it comes down and flys again.

Thanks Mike
