Have been sighting those for years, even have pics on my web site. But yours are nicer than mine !

Wonder if they will ever be restored.

I think that there is very little chance that they will be restored. The original group that purchased the planes about twleve years ago and brought them over from the UK where they last served. The ownership group had the proverbial pi**ing contest and they split up. Ken Ramage has taken on responsibility of the planes and brought one over to the CAF ramp since Falcon Field is trying to rid the airport of any non flyable aircraft. They are definitely not warbird friendly anymore even though that is what put them on the map. To answer the question on the other forum, the forward section of the vertical stab is wood. The spar is aluminum. The vertical on the other Canberra delaminated years ago and they were able to get one out of Davis- Monthans boneyard off a Martin B-57 which was all metal and replace it. One of the RR Avon engines also needs to be rebuilt since one of the starter cartridges detonated and tore apart the forward section of the engine. They are however very cool planes and I would like to see one of them back in the air.
