Another hairball day aboard the Coral Sea. 1950-51 Med Cruise
No details on this one. Looks like his gear collapsed on landing. F4U-4 from VF-173 or VF-174

The caption also stated that it was a -5 when it looks to be a -4 with .50s in the wings vs the 4 20mm.
