I was wondering are their any Tours for any B-17 in Texas ? I know that their are three that are based here :D But where I live not near any of their Home bases :cry:

Collings' 17, 24 & 25 usually comes through Texas in the Spring.

EAA said they'll be coming to Texas sometime towards the late Fall with "Aluminum Overcast."

Let's not forget that LSFM are also offering rides now with the B-17 and B-25 ~ http://www.lsfm.org/

And of course a number of WIXers are doing there utmost over at the CAF GCW trying to get their B-17 ~ Texas Raiders back into the air and selling revenue rides in 2008 !

Texas is going to be blessed with B-17's selling rides in 2008 :D

Tell Chuckie and Doc that I siad HI ! I used to do some Vol work on Chuckie B-17 in the Eightys when I was not doing the Chef thing on the Weekends I am now married and have a Son ! living in the Hill Country.
Would LOVE to BE Back in Dallas Fort Worth Area just to help out on that wonderful Bird !
