Came across this group of pics...

What was the Breitling Fighter team, did Breitling own the warbirds? And do they still fly?

Breitling sponsors a number of warbirds and vintage aircraft, as well as many aviation events (such as the Reno Air Races). My favorite Breitling-sponsored aircraft is definitely the Super Connie!

They have some stuff on their web site: http://www.breitling.com

As for me, I own two Breitling watches 8) but no warbirds

Cheers!

The Breitling Fighters were owned and operated by The Old Flying Machine Company at Duxford, under Breitling sponsorship. When the sponsorship finished a few years back, a few of the aircraft were sold to new owners in New Zealand. With Ray Hanna's death a couple of years back, OFMC are now down to operating just the P-51D and Spitfire IXb.
