One of the highlights of the non-Mustang portion of the airshow at GML was the Raptor demo. 'Max' flew 2 different aircraft on the 2 days that I photopgraphed it. #94 is a new one off the line, and was swapped with another aircraft with the unit in Alaska currently re-equipping with the aircraft, so the 94th FS could have the airframe with the same tail number as their squadron number.

The 94th, known as the 'Spads', are the descendants of the 94th Aero Squadron of WWI, hence their nickname.

Excellent pictures Mr Shreeve! I am especially fond of the one with the blue-nose mustang leading the -15, -16 and Raptor! Puts me in mind of Gen Olds leading a new class out of the Academy :D

I should have read Mike's original message more closely at first. I think what he is saying is that #94 is...

F-22A-30
s/n: 05-4094 USAF
c/n: 4094
markings: "FF 94 FS"

The other Raptor at GML was...

F-22A-30
s/n: 05-4085 USAF
c/n: 4085
markings: "FF", "AF 05 085"
