N3N-3 Jeff prompted me to ask a question here...

Can anybody tell us which model(s) of PESCO fuel pumps will properly feed a Lycoming R-680?

What is snagging us is the fuel pump.
It disappeared when we sent it to Radials Ltd.
They say they can't find (or never had it) and we at WHS can't find it.
Because the fuel tank is right above the Pilot's knees, and not like a Stearman (in the top wing) we cannot rely on gravity feed in all flight regimes.

Oh how I long for the day!!!
