Hi everyone,

I was near Vancouver International Airport earlier today and saw a beautiful DC-3 fly over. She was polished up very nicely, but was too high up for me to get a look at its paint scheme.

It was flying overhead at 12:25 and it might have been in the circuit to land at CYVR.

Is there someone out there that knows of anyone who's got a shiny DC-3 and had it up in Vancouver, BC today?

Cheers,

David

Daveymac-

I was out on the ramp at work today and I just got a glimpse of the DC-3 as it passed over head. Only got a look at the belly though. For a minute I thought I was losing it at the prospect of seeing a DC-3 flying in Vancouver again.

Yeah, at first I thought it was Beaver flying over, but it sounded a little different, lower maybe. So I wandered outside and saw her flying overhead. I can't say I've seen a flying DC-3 in a long time. I know there are still cargo DC-3's around, but I can't remember the last time one actually came into YVR.

She was a beauty eh? At least what you could see of it.. haha

Cheers,

David
