Warbird Information Exchange

I took this photo at a radiator repair shop near L.A. this afternoon:



Couldn't get close enough to read much of the badge at top center except the word "Torino" - Turin, Italy - and the lady at the shop said that someone had dropped it off to be repaired about 50 years ago and never picked it up. She said the owner knew what it was from but he wasn't there and I had to get home - Over to you!

P.S. I would have been more impressed if the gas tank my friend dropped off two months ago was finished, but that's another story...

Looks like a radiator for one of he Ansaldo aircraft, like an SVA 9 or SVA 5 from WWI.
