Warbird Information Exchange

Hello all,

Just a reminder - the WIX Gathering during AirVenture is at 1919 W. Waukau Ave. on Thursday the 26th. It's the last house on the left as you leave the convention grounds going west on Waukau Ave. If you can find the old FAA tower, Waukau Ave. is the street that runs directly west from the tower. Sometime tonight a large banner with "Welcome WIXers" will go up in the yard so you can't miss the house. Stop in anytime after 5pm on Thursday.

Also, if you run into anyone with an interesting aviation background (Gary Austin), send them over to the EAA Timeless Voices of Aviation tent in the Warbirds area directly east of the yellow food building and we can get them signed up for an oral history interview. Each participant receives an unedited DVD copy of their interview and there's absolutely no charge to participate. Visit www.airventure.org to see an edited clip from an interview recorded each day.

I am just sick to my stomach that I cannot attend this year! Between my health and my family, It will have to wait until next year.

Glad to see this gathering going on....I ordered my WIX T-shirt last year, and wear it to every airshow now....so hopefully, I will be in it at Osh next year!


Maybe some pix of the wix gathering would be in order?
