I am in Elmira, N. Y. and about to go to the Soaring Museum at Harris Hill and hope to get a glider flight also. Then just north to the Glen Curtis Museum at Hammondsport, then in the morning planning on flying from Geneseo to Fond du Lac and give the plane a good wash before Oshkosh. This is pretty country and the weather has been fine. I've heard some horror stories about what it is like here in the winter. It was a pretty gloomy night thinking abot the Camarillo accident, btu the post from Mudge, Ho Hum,sure brightened my day.

Bill--

Thanks a million for making the trip to Gennie...I'd been waiting 33 seasons to see TE308! Hope to see you there again soon. (Or, dare one hope, up here in Ontario?)

Cheers

Thanks for making the trip Bill. It was very nice meeting you. There is also the Wings Of Ealges museum you can check out at Elmira. What time do you plan on going there? I might think about meeting up with you.

Cheers,
-Nathan

It was fantastic meeting you Bill. Sorry to see that you had a hard time checking in upon arrival, but I hope it didn't dampen your spirits too much as I would like to see you and your Spit up this way sometime.

For other sites in NY go to...

http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.php?Region=NY

...then find a listing close to where you are (Elmira for example) and click the compass icon on the left. That will give you a listing of the sites within 30 miles (the algorithm I use is only a rough approximation). You can then increase the range value and search again, or perhaps reset the form and enter the name of another state you will be passing over on your way to Osh.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
