How about meeting up at noon by the control tower?
I know some of youse troops aren't gonna' be there both days so why not make the "meet-up" for both days?

Sounds a good idea to me Mudge.

I'm only going on the Sunday, but I should be in the Friends of TFC enclosure (must remember to renew my subs prior to the show), so not to far to go!

Paul...We'll be in the TFC enclosure, too. Probably over in the far right front corner. We usually get there early enough to stake that out.

I'll probably be in the Friends enclosure too with some mates - if Ken Gray lets me re-subscribe on the gate! Not sure which day (depends on weather) but it won't be both.

There are always a couple of ladies there at the entrance who will be happy to take your money. New or re-new, they don't care as long as they get the £££s.
I always re-new as we enter.

I'll be around from the Friday to Sunday, I'll try to bump into you during the weekend.

I'll also be at the Red Lion on Saturday and Sunday after the show.

Ooooooooohhhh, you lucky buggars....have'nt been since 2001....gotta start working on plans to get there again, maybe next year or 2 summers from now. Such a great show. So many folks I'd like to see over there and say hi to again....and after the show, head on over to 'The Plough' to get plowed and have some more of that delicious lamb they served last time I was there.

Such a great show...Enjoy it folks, and treasure it. AND POST PICS!!

I spoke to Howard Pardue a few days ago and he was getting ready ot go to Duxford, didn't know what he would be flying, "whatever they waant me to".

Usually they have him in the Hellcat.....saw him in 2001 on the flightline and he came over and said "Boy, you came a long way to say Hello!"....what, Colorado to the UK is a long way?
