Greetings
I was working in Branson MO about 15 years ago and remember going in to a Museum of sorts of Box Car Willy (Singer) and was statled to see a nose of what I thought was a C-97 or KC-97 and the story was that it was the Plane that he flew on .
Can any one shed light on this ?

That was a simulator for a KC-97. Lecil Martin (Box Car Willie) was a B-36 FE in the Air Force. He joined my old Guard unit (Texas ANG, 136 ARW) and became an FE on our KC-97s. What became of the sim???? I sure would like to have it!
