I received some questions about P-40s as a result of pics posted on the web. I don't have the answers, but I bet someone here does. So I will include the questions below and pass the link of this thread to the gent doing the asking.
Let's show a newcomer to WIX, GRAEME McDERMOTT, New Zealand, some of the hospitality this place is known for by giving him as many details as you can!

Question #1
Quote:
I have been taking a close interest in P-40N5 43-23007 owned by (?) one Roger Simpson, and under rebuild with Tom Reilly at Kissimmee. Recently I managed to find a couple of shots on a website under the Flying Tigers Museum banner - after a lot of searching! And in the last week or so Richard Allnutt has sent me a shot of the aircraft in Reilly's
workshops as taken by Ross Henniger. Finding out what is happening to the aircraft now Roger Simpson is dead is an exercise in futility. I'm wondering if you have any ideas as to any change of ownership as Roger has been dead for 6 or 7 years and someone must be paying the bills!
Question #2
Quote:
On another tack completely, Ross took a shot of a replica P-40 mounted up a pole at March Field AFB. It has been removed from March according to my contacts there, so where has it gone ?? Any ideas?
