FYI Just saw his obit and says he was in the Air Force and was shot down over Phillipines and got purple heart, but not sure if he was a pilot or not. Weird that he was boirn a few miles from my hometown in Penna and never knew much about him!!!! Small world!! Clipper |

New info claims he was a bombadier on a B-24 and he did lots of missions, was shot down over japanese territory and broke both ankles!!! |
