Location: 6.0 NM NW of KNFE
Bob Smyth, Naval Aviator and Test Pilot, passed away on January 10. Smyth flew the Grumman F8F Bearcat, Chance Vought F4U Corsair and McDonnell F2H Banshee during his Naval career and performed the first flight of the A2F-1 (A-6A) Intruder as well as the F-14A Tomcat as a Grumman Test Pilot:
