I've lurked a few times on WIX and I finally figured I should set up an account. But enough about why...
I've had an interest in warbirds as part of an overall WWII interest for a while, but only in the past few years, after I realized I needed an actual career for life, did I really start trying to become involved. This summer I started volunteering as a docent at the Tri-State Warbird Museum. I mention this because should anyone want info on the museum, or its goings on, I would be willing to help. My ultimate goal is to work in some (hopefully paid!
) capacity at NMUSAF. There might be a few things in between my current position and the one I want to achieve, but they shouldn't be too significant, right?
Anyway, that me in a nutshell. I'm looking forward to being part of this community.
Oh, and by the way, you guys really need to start another welcome thread!
