Newbie From Chicago

Hey all, my name is Jon. I am a Military Vehicle/History enthusiast (especially WWII) and amateur photographer. As a hobby I travel to various museums, airshows and other related attractions around the world. I've visited a number of museums throughout England, Germany, France, Poland and the US and have countless pictures to share.
I recently created a youtube channel to showcase some of my videos and have been having a lot of fun playing around with media editing software.

As a personal goal I am trying to reach 100 subscribers so help me out!
A few years back I also began construction of a website to document my visits after being inspired by others. Then not long after, the server crashed that housed all my Hi-resolution photos
(minus.com) and I lost interest after all the time I had put into it. You can still seecheck out the website below and view the images in standard quality.

I'm thinking about getting back into the game, but this time creating a blog instead. If anyone has any feedback or recommendations please let me know!
