I appologize in addvance if this is in the wrong section didnot know where to posted.
I was given a Weston Electric X100 Dual Cylinder Temperature Indicator 827 Gauge to use in a VW aircooled engine and was wondering if anyone knows where and what type thermocple is need. all I know is it says 8ohm leeads

These were fitted to a large variety of aircraft. They were commonly found on C-47's and C-54's. You will need iron-constantan leads with a resistance of 8 ohm to operate this instrument. You can use either a spark plug type thermocouple or a bayonet type. When fitting the bayonet type thermocouple on aircraft, there is an Pratt and Whitney Engine Operation Information Letter and Service Bulletin to follow.
