I was wondering if anyone can tell me how and some tips on polish/cleaning aircraft aluminum? I want to clean some parts up, but I do NOT want that mirror shine finish. I just want to rid the dirt and smudges and make the surface smoother. Someone totally oblivious on all the in's and outs of working aircraft aluminum, Nate |

Start with the white or gray scotchbrite, don't just jump right in with the brown stuff. |

Won't be cheap,, but Acid Etch will clean them up good, just be sure to rinse well. |
