Does anyone know who it was that had new machined P-40 engine mount bolts for sale - the ones that attach the actual engine mount to the firewall fittings?

Thanks!

Can you give a part number?
any chance of posting a PDF of the Illustrated Parts Manual with a picture of your needed bolts?
There are many WIX'ers in the airplane industry that may be able to assist with cross reference part number or find what you need.
send me a PM if you don't want to post.

thanks

Hi again... thanks Jim.. attached should be an image of the Curtiss drawing for one of the 2 types of bolts that I am after.

Somebody in the P-40 restoration business was making them some years ago, but I cannot recall who it was... just thought someone here might have remembered?

Have you tried Tony Wytenburg at Classic Aero Machining Service?

I would start by contacting Tom Wilson (Hang the Expense), The not-so-benevolent Dictator of S.H.I.T. and maker of nifty P-40 parts.
