I ran across this Hispano- Suiza engine at the Pate Swap Meet in FtWorth TX, this weekend. It had been outdoors for a LONG time. It had corrosion, the cylinders were filled with dirt, and the exhaust pipes were rotted out from all of the sand in them. But, it was still an awesome sight to see. It had several 1918 casting dates on it. The guy was asking $2,000 for it. He ended up selling it to someone else. I had called the guy repeatedly about it to buy it, but he was absent for two days at the swap meet. Some one else beat me to it.
