I'm looking for a place where I could buy a circular cap or cover that has the Douglas logo on it (with the illustration of planes circling the globe) that goes in the center of an A-26 control yoke. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a picture of what I'm describing:

Contact the Historical Aircraft Squadron in Lancaster Ohio. They had an airworthy A26 they just sold. They still have a mostly complete A26 they want to do away with. I don't know if they have what you are looking for. PM me and I can pass along some of their members contact information. :drink3:

Try Jay Wisler in Tampa or Jon Aldrich in N. California

Thank ya'll for helping me locate some of those awesome covers. Any known Boeing B-17 or Consolidated B-24 control wheel covers for sale would also be appreciated.

Just be careful if you are looking for authentic yoke caps. There are companies out there reproducing the caps (they do look really good), so people may be trying to pass off the new makes for originals. I have seen the Douglas B-17 ones, but not sure if they are making new copies of the Douglas A-26 ones. We fly with new production ones on our aircraft because they tend to disappear regularly, so replacing a $65 reproduction one is a lot easier than replacing an original.
