Hi.
What a wonderful job you are all doing. I have a fondness for the Lanc. During the war I used to see them forming up over my home town Grimsby. They were mostly from Waltham and Binbrook. I was in the RAF in the fifties and worked on the Lancs big brother, the Avro Lincoln, she was biiig! About 15' more wingspan. I had quite few trips in them, I usually bagged the rear turret if it was empty, wonderful view to the rear and by turning the turret to the maximum right and left, I could right up the side of the fuselage left and right to the front.
