Had a RetroAviation moment

I was working on the harnesses and seats in the "new" Fairchild PT-26. The seats had to come out to achieve what I needed done. I had almost ALL the old screws back in (with new ny-lock nuts) when I had one of THOSE moments.
The kind that if Gary had seen pictures of it I would have gotten one of those "That's nice Don, BUT..." emails.
So I dutifully removed the screws one at a time and replaced them with shiny new AN3-9 bolts before I tightened them down. I now have matching scars on both thumbs, multiple bruises on the left arm. (The right seemed to weather the ordeal better...
) and now I have a clean conscience.

Seat in question.

Old screws

That's better!

Decided to celebrate

With a new sticker on KERMIT- different plane, but the green matches better!
