NA-Y8 Stromberg Carb NEEDED

I am looking for ANY information on a NA-Y8 C or E model carb. Can not find any online manuals, or repair kits, OR a core!
Does anyone know the "best" difference between the two, outside of the valve/back suction question? Or even which is the better of the two methods.
