Post subject:  Wickwire Spencer propeller?

Doe anyone have any information on the Wickwire Spencer adjustable propeller? All I've been able to find is a photo of one blade in the Massey Museum, a short blurb in a 1942 Time Magazine article on wartime ersatz products and a NACA wind-tunnel report. Model numbers would be W12T20 and W12T30.

Just saw this thread. It just so happens I have a couple of these animals. Quite unique things! Here's the logo off one of the blades...

Doesn't have the Spencer part but it is the very animal. I do not know when this dates it. Wasn't the Wickwire or Spencer part a steel wire or rod mill? They were in IL? I figured they just were funding the inventor's idea and undertaking. It really is a neat idea. I cannot find a model number anywhere...not even an identifying mark short of a blade stencil and the decal shown. I have, like you, searched for information on these for 3 years now. I know I haven't seen one in anybody's collection or even museum. I do have a speculated history formulated. Need more info, post away!
