Does anyone know where I can find reasonably priced Type 4000 or 4000A rail trailers ? Also looking for a couple of Type 3000s.

Have you checked with any of the mega acre military surplus yards that seem to be concentrated in Utah? Or any of the smelters and parts outfits in Tucson?

Yep, also already checked the normal sources on Parts Base. Their pricing is outrageous.

That's aviation,
rebuilt Delco 60A generator for your 1958 Chevy ------------$75. @ the parts store on the corner
rebuilt Delco 60A generator for your 1958 Piper Flychaser----$750.00, essentially the same as the auto 60A generator except uses marine brushes

I've seen them sell at Govt Liquidation for around $100, and locally for $50, but that was a year ago. Haven't seen any since then. The local govt surplus yards used to have dozens, but not any more.
