I would like to modify the horizontal stabiliser attachment fittings on a T6 to the later split style in order to avoid the repetitive inspections. In order to do so I would like to obtain a copy of the relevant drawings part numbers 77-21021-3 and 77-21021-4. Can anyone advise on a source for the drawings? Thanks. |

Hi, I have a set of T-6 drawings, I will check them in the morning and if I have those part numbers, I can e-mail it to you. Bill |

Can you send them twice? I would be interested as well. Chunks |

Never seen the drawings, but Lance sells the later style ones (as well as the earlier style if you insist on cutting them yourself). You can just saw the earlier style ones right down the middle. Isn't this explained in the AD note? |

Hi, After searching through several thousand drawings, I found this one. It shows it as a one piece fitting, but the cut is made down the center line of the upper left hand drawing. You do it to the upper and lower fittings on both sides. [url] ![]() Hope this helps, Bill |

Hi Bill Thanks for posting the drawing. I would assume that the dash numbers are just a modification of the original part. I wonder how much material was removed when the fitting is cut? There must be some later drawings around somewhere. Thanks Mike ![]() |

http://www.airweb.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgAD.nsf/0/D1595A2361D5F4D686256A450068CE7C?OpenDocument http://www.airweb.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgAD.nsf/0/5371F3D926BE056686256A4D004493D2?enDocument Interesting that the version of the AD applying up to the AT-6C / SNJ-4 says you can make new fittings "from 24ST or X4130 bar stock to the same dimensions as the old fittings", but the later version of the AD (for AT-6D / SNJ-5 and later) doesn't mention that. Has anyone seen an earlier T-6 with "field-fabricated" 4130 steel horizontal stab attach fittings? Bela P. Havasreti |

Hi, From the split fittings that I have purchased, it seems that the gap is 1/16" to 3/32". Cheers, Bill |

Or about a saw kerf... I sawed some of mine that were in good condition and bought new ones from Lance to replace some with egged out holes. Can't tell the difference other than the ink stamped part number! |
