As the Camel is finishing up, I am going to start a full size Sopwith Tabloid replica, replicating the two place side-by-side seating of the early versions. Hope to fly by Spring next year. The goal is an inexpensive, simple, easy to fly and fun little full size "light" replica meeting LSA criteria.
The history is interesting, as it is arguable that the Sopwith Tabloid was one of the very first fighter aircraft. Ever.

Hmmm. Is someone else going to fly it when you're flying the Camel? Still trying to convince someone to build a Triplane?

I wish someone would build a Triplane nearby. I don't need two single seaters.

If I could find someone with a full size Dr.1, we (the Fokker and the Camel) would have our way paid to every airshow in America.

All it takes is money. It's a really good idea, though! Wish I could help. Maybe we need to start a more active recruiting process here in town.
